There are plenty of places to go online if you're a sports fan. Every professional league has a website dedicated to covering games, teams, players and the latest news. But what about car enthusiasts? Where can they get their fill of everything in the world of great automobiles?
We've gathered 8 of our favorite websites for all things cars. That is, of course, in addition to our own Tire Agent blog.
Jalopnik is a go-to destination for car enthusiasts of all stripes. It covers everything from new car reviews to motorsports and even has a section dedicated to car-buying advice. Jalopnik is known for its in-depth reporting and entertaining writing style.
Motor1 is an excellent resource for those interested in the latest and greatest in the world of cars. It features news, reviews, and features on new and upcoming vehicles, as well as coverage of motorsport events and car culture. If you don't like websites with the never-ending scrolling feature, this isn't for you. Click here if you want to give it a test drive.
CarThrottle is a website and community of car enthusiasts with a focus on younger generations. Kind of like the Buzzfeed of cool car websites, CarThrottle provides news, reviews, and features on new and exciting cars. It also covers car culture and motorsports events.
Top Gear is one of the most well-known and respected car enthusiast websites in the world. With its mix of news, new car reviews, features, and motorsports coverage, Top Gear is an excellent resource for anyone who loves cars. They also have their own TV show, which is one of the most popular car shows in the world. It even has a magazine you can subscribe to if you just can't get enough.
Car and Driver is one of the most respected sources of car news and reviews. Car and Driver has been around for decades and is known for its in-depth testing and objective reviews of new vehicles. It also has a section for car buyers, which includes buying advice and listings of new and used cars for sale.
The Drive covers all aspects of the automotive world, from new car reviews to classic auto collecting. It also has a section called "The Garage," which includes DIY repair and maintenance guides for car enthusiasts.
Green Car Reports aims to keep you informed on the latest developments in environmentally friendly vehicles, including hybrids, plug-in hybrids, and electric cars. They test drive and review "green" vehicles, provide helpful advice and information, and keep enthusiasts updated on the latest news and trends in the industry. If you're thinking about going green, Green Car Reports is a must-read.
IMCDb.org is a fun one. It's the Internet Movie Cars Database, which answers the question, "What car was that?" in the same way IMDb.com answers, "Where do I know that actor from?" The website allows you to find information about cars featured in movies. Search for a specific vehicle to see which movie it was in, or search for a film to find information about the vehicles that appear in it. The website also includes numerous photographs of cars taken directly from movies. The website's design is in need of a design update, but don't let that scare you away! It's a fun time-waster for auto enthusiasts!
These are just a few examples of the many great websites out there for car enthusiasts. Whether you're into classic or sports cars or just love reading about all things automotive, there's a website for you.
